What Is Curcumin?
Curcumin is one of the naturally occurring compounds found in turmeric (Curcuma longa), the golden-coloured spice obtained from the plant’s rhizome.
Turmeric has a long history of traditional use, including within Ayurveda.
Viridian’s curcumin is cultivated in Southern India and is certified organic by the Soil Association. The extract contains naturally occurring curcuminoids, including curcumin, demethoxycurcumin and bisdemethoxycurcumin.
